Pardon me if there is a more specific forum for this, but I didn't see it.
I am a reseller who is very pleased with my provider, but I recently moved to an Ensim server with Majordomo and I've not been pleased with Majordomo.
I have a number of sites that use maillists (soccer teams, not spam). I used to use MailMan and it was ideal, but I'm told it doesn't work well on Ensim AND I would prefer to set them up myself.
I need to be able to set up lists that would allow the listmembers to simply send an e-mail to list@domain.com. MajorDomo does that, but I also need to be able to restrict the list to JUST listmembers AND a few select others. For instance, coaches from other teams can mail another list, but don't need to receive all the list's mail.
I also need to allow the listmembers to do their own password maintenance and change or add additional names.
Archives is nice, but not a must.
There seems to be a number of programs out there that require the sender to post from a web form, but I want them to be able to send it from their own mail client.
Obviously, I need something I can setup myself. I can likely get my provider to set up one program (if root is required) but I don't want to rely on them for what may ultimately be 50-60 lists.
Suggestions?
