To order your server:

1. Regsiter on our website under dedicated servers.
2. Login to the cp
3. Click on the last drop down list
4. Select custom service. click the button
6. On the next page enter the setup fee and the monthly fee of the server and the description of the server you want.

If you have any questions feel free to email asher@atwebhost.com.

All the best,
Ashar.

Do you happen to have any of your XP 1900+ or Celeron 1.7 GHZ machines left at this pricing level? Also, are the metered servers multihomed and how is is measured (incoming+outgoing or greatest of the 2)?

Are these server semi-managed (as many of your past offers have been)?

I got a $99 a month UGC server I've been playing round with this month, but I notice the sites loads slow at times and there have been a few small outages. Nothing horrid, but why settle for that if I can get better at only a marginally higher price.

P.S. Would it be possible to order now and have the server turned on on a certain date (say around a week or so from now), not that it makes much difference.

Tazzman, unfortunately no and we wont until next month or so. Yes the unmetered servers are multihomed and 10mbps is the total usage incomming and outgoing.

Yea all our servers are semi managed.

Yes its possible to order now and turn it on a later date but why would you want to do that when you can have your server right now ;)

Tazzman, unfortunately no and we wont until next month or so.Any idea when next month (beginning, end, ...)? I could wait if need be, as long as it isn't till the end of the month.

P.S. You also didn't mention how transfer is measured.

It's just that I've had both Duron and Celery 1.3 boxes and they both had a considerably higher load compared to the same sites on an XP or P3 server.

Mid or end of :)

Transfer = actual usage.

Tazzman
11-19-2002, 11:11 AM
Actual usage can still be measured in different ways :)

Let's see if we can do this with an example:

At DV2, the transfer is measured as the greatest of incoming and outgoing. If your montly limit is given as 500 GB, you may use 500 GB incoming AND 500 GB outgoing without extra transfer charges.

At other hosts this 500 GB is counted as incoming+outgoing, meaning that if you have 300 GB incoming and 300 GB outgoing, you will have to pay for 100 GB as the total for the month is 600 GB.

Which one of these methods do you use?

Also, how much for 512 MB more ram in the above servers? Also, do the duron motherboards support XP processors. Maybe I could get a duron now and upgrade it at a later time depending on performence.

Server #2
:: Celeron 1.3 GHz
:: 512 MB
:: 60 GB hard disk
:: Zervex DSM control panel (silver)
:: 300 GB bandwidth
:: $99 a month with no setup fee

Is upgrading Zervex DSM silver to DSM Gold an option and what would be the price for said upgrade if applicable?

-Mj.

Asher S

DSM gold (same as silver except branding support) costs $20 more per month.

DefiantPc

Thank's Asher, when you say branding support does that imply we can still have private branding for our resellers with the siver plan or that the silver plan does not support the reseller branding?

Asher S
11-19-2002, 02:52 PM
By branding it means putting your logo in the control panel. Not anonymous reselling as far as I know.

DefiantPc

I called Zervex and you are correct the gold plan allows resellers to brand the cp as in put their company logos on the Cp unstead of the dsm logo.

SBY Mike

How about 100-200 bandwidth on any server?

Asher S
11-19-2002, 08:14 PM
600gb = $30 more on each server
100-200 gb = not possible, 300gb is the minimum.

Correction on the 600 gb bw... The total cost for a server with 600 gigs of traffic will be $139 regardless of specs (of servers costing under $139 obviously :P)!

I already ordered on of the Durons with 300 GIGS a month. Any chance that I can still bump that up to the 600 GIG package? Maybe bill my credit card prorated till the 1st of December for the 300 GIG package and then switch it over to the 600 GIG package or something like that as the $40 for this month was already billed to my card. I won't be using much transfer this month anyway, so maybe you'd be willing to do this for me?

Thanks

We can secure the server if we detect a vulnerability on it or if you find one and tell us.
