Hello, i asked before for a mod/script/plugin for whm but i feel that i was too nonspecific cause what they showed me was a script to totally login to root heres what were looking for

we are looking for a script that ADDS passwords to root like:
the CEO uses the real root pass
Techie 1 password: test1
Techie 2 password: test2
Admin 1 password: testtest123

and its all different passwords but they all log you into the SAME ROOT account. not the tick box on the reseller but the actually root user. is there ANYTHING that can make this happen??

It allows everybody to login into root whm with different passwords. Nobody on your team has to have a reseller account either. :)

our admin bought it and it doesn't do that, it just has a page when you login for logging in to a WHM account that he setup. it doesn't give each user a different password.

Wow. Thats not good at all. I thought it would do that. I never bought it before thankfully. I do not see the point in it then. The only thing I can see is buying server management or just allow them billing access with certain permissions.

Umm, I've used that tool around the time it first came out.

It stores the root whm login in the database, and each user CAN get there own unique login to whmezlogin.

yea unique login to whmezlogin. we are looking for a plugin that has different logins for whm so when we go to /whm to login we can use a different password then the real root password like username:root password:test instead of using the real password
i don't think anyone made this mod, or if its even possible with /ect/shadow and /ect/password or passwrd

That sounds like a horrible idea.

If you're going to trust someone with root, you should be able to trust them with a shared password.
