Does anyone has idea about how pricing on Enkompass going to be ?

I'm pretty sure it's not I remember reading they are doing per user pricing. The reason being you can run just one cPanel then a bunch of specialized servers. So obviously with a case like that they wouldn't be making much money.

With the Enkompass i heard they are making it so you need a set of servers like you say to run dns, mysql etc seperatly, is that still going to be the case?

You don't *have* to have a bunch of servers, but why pay for a SQL server license on a machine you're going to run other things on, and end up needing another SQL server.

Specialize your servers to their roles, SQL servers with more memory, Mail Servers with more archive space and so on. License one server and use it to the brink, then add another one to Enkompass ;D

You can use one box and grow out or start with two or three and grow from there.

Helm used to get around this by having separate software for the "control server" and "remote servers".

The control panel on the "control server" would talk to the software on the "remote servers" to tell them to setup DNS, modify MySQL, etc.
