After more than 20 years as a Macintosh consultant, I am now working full-time on a Master in French Literature and their impact in the media.
In the course of my studies, and for the future need of our Department, I may need to develop experience to set up web hosting servers and applications, notably in establishing a permanent forum.
Since I am also a volunteer general manager for an the international French language Association for the literary creation by youth, I will need to learn how to set up a forum.
Please bear with me since I am not a geek, just an advanced user and trainer that uses computers to get things done.
I received WebHosting Talk coordinates from an experienced user who knows me as an administrator on two of his numerous forums.
My main interest will be with using the Mac OS X Server platform.
I look forward to participate in this forum. Seems a great community.
