cheCCa 11-18-2002, 10:50 PM Hello,
May i ask if anyone know when Modernbill says eWay as the supported payment gateway, do they mean www.eway.com.au or ?
Thanks in advance.
Tim S 11-19-2002, 10:15 AM I don't use eWay but I looked at the mod for you and it is pointing to https://www.eway.com.au so the answer is yes

cheCCa 11-19-2002, 10:41 AM Pls...i am so new n blur abt it.
for example...where is the mod for cpanel and eway?
where can i find it?
thanks.
Tim S 11-19-2002, 11:21 AM You would probably be better off asking for help on modernbills forums.
I just looked in the the files for the eWay mod to answer your question. I am far from knowledgeable.
cheCCa 11-19-2002, 01:20 PM Yes, confirm. -->eway = eway.com.au
Contact MB and got a reply on that.
seg fault 11-21-2002, 12:43 AM Yeah, they support eWay.com.au!
I was very happy to see that :)
webarama 11-21-2002, 12:49 AM Yeah but it doesn't work yet.
I am waiting on them to take a look at this tonight at some stage (when they have finished birthday celebrations according to their site) so I can actually get eway fired up.
seg fault 11-21-2002, 01:21 AM Dave,
I have some eway modules here if you need them
webarama 11-21-2002, 01:28 AM If it works, I would love it. I have been waiting for days for them to have a look into why mine doesn't work.
cheCCa 11-21-2002, 02:12 AM webarama, what cc integration are u currently using, if i may ask.
webarama 11-21-2002, 02:17 AM We were using esec but are currently doing it all manually via an Amex terminal here (punching in the numbers).
This kinda sucks when you do the volume we do.
cheCCa 11-21-2002, 02:28 AM arrghhh..hehehe....but if u have the volume and punching them in means $$:D ...shouldnt complain too much:blush:
can i ask 1 questions?
if your eway account is abchosting.com and your merchange account(with the banks) is xyzhosting.....what shows on the customer bill?
Thanks and all the best :) + u (webarama) got a really nice website there

Good point. It's just frustrating when we are so close to almost 100% automation to get stuck waiting for this module to be ready.

xyzhosting (as far as I know)
Thanks and all the best :) + u (webarama) got a really nice website there
Thanks :)
cheCCa 11-21-2002, 02:45 AM thanks webarama :)
all the best!
any idea when the eway module gonna be completed or working?
webarama 11-21-2002, 02:53 AM No idea. MB have developed the module, it's just not working. They promised yesterday it would be looked at today, so here's hoping.
webarama 11-21-2002, 04:47 AM An update for anyone who's interested.
I now have a working version! MB have fixed a small line of code which was wrong in the eway module, and now all works perfectly.
We are all having a mini party in here let me tell ya. It's a good day!
seg fault 11-21-2002, 05:33 AM Can you send me a copy by any chance mate? support@hosticle.com
Cheers@!
modernbill 11-21-2002, 05:38 AM Thanks to webarama, we were able to isolate the problematic code!
eWAY is good to go!!!
webarama 11-21-2002, 05:42 AM hosticle, in case you missed it, here it is;
include/misc/mod_eway/connect_eway.inc.php
line 40 change to
$string .= "<ewayTotalAmount>".str_replace('.','',$gateway_api_array[x_Amount])."</ewayTotalAmount>";
seg fault 11-21-2002, 05:59 AM Does the eWay module do all the batches etc?
I dont personally have a copy of modernbill, but I played with a friend of mines copy and noticed the eway module didn't ask for a clientID etc
Just wondering - when I looked at the code, I did see it using the xml payment method which is awesome :P
webarama 11-21-2002, 06:00 AM Yes, it allows batching :-)
seg fault 11-21-2002, 06:09 AM So, do you need to enable one of the gateway things like the authorize.net or echo-inc for this to work?
Where do you input your client ID?
modernbill 11-21-2002, 06:15 AM > So, do you need to enable one of the gateway things like the authorize.net or echo-inc for this to work?
Yes.
> Where do you input your client ID?
When you enable it, you will be able to configure the gateway.
seg fault 11-21-2002, 06:17 AM which one needs to be configured/enabled?
seg fault 11-21-2002, 06:19 AM Bullock will be cheering, this module will make him a fortune!
modernbill 11-21-2002, 06:20 AM eWAY is its own module in v4. You install it and then enable it.
webarama 11-21-2002, 06:22 AM And it works a treat.
As soon as I can work out how the Plesk Module works we'll be laughing even more.
The question is, what am I going to do with all my spare time?
seg fault 11-21-2002, 06:24 AM Okays
So the eway module isn't with the actual main .tar.gz?
I edited the finance settings so it uses eway, but from that part on I am at a loss.
So an additional module needs to be installed yeah as well as the codefix above?
webarama 11-21-2002, 06:29 AM Use the module-loader.php file to install it, then configure it in the system config.
cheCCa 11-21-2002, 07:38 AM so for the eway module to work, i need to change / fix the line or its done? remotely?
webarama 11-21-2002, 07:42 AM You need to enable the module first.
Then go in and change that line.
seg fault 11-21-2002, 08:14 AM Lets hope camtech is next! :)
cheCCa 11-21-2002, 09:43 AM Dear pple,
