leanback 10-23-2009, 04:55 PM Are you sure they were actually transferred instead of maybe just parked with
name.com. Can you log in to your cpanel and check dns servers?
Brian-de-vie 10-23-2009, 05:48 PM Enom do tend to respond slowly, but normally there responses are worth waiting for.
When did you contact enom ?
Also has the 'who is' info changed ?
If your not listed as the reg. owner, then it is a bit of a problem for enom to 'deal' with you.
Would you share the domain name with us, it may help.
samurai7 10-23-2009, 06:01 PM I can't suggest any solution with this limited information. I will definitely help you if you can provide a bit more information regarding the transfer.
How were they hijacked? Did someone break into your eNom account?

Good question..
Are you still able to login you Enom account?
You can run some reports and find out when they are transferred.

the domain is
ksacam.com you can check in whois.com
Techno 10-25-2009, 10:25 AM It's going to be tough. I believe the domain had Enom private WHOIS before Oct 17 (@whoisprivacyprotect.com) and has Name.com private WHOIS after (@protecteddomainservices.com). How was the domain hijacked? Were you a direct reseller for Enom or did you buy through an Enom reseller?

according to domain history, ksacam. com was transferred to Name.com in the end of September. Enom are considering tarsnfer disputes within certain amount of days so they might tell that they are not able to help you.
The last unprotected data was in the name of faisal salim. If you are Faisal Salim, i believe it is worth opening a transfer dispute with Name.com directly. But usually your previous registrar should open a dispute. This is strange that Enom is not answering, the speed of their support recently noticeably increased
If Enom fail to help you, you can try to dispute the transfer with the help of WIPO:

strider96 10-26-2009, 12:56 PM Take a screenshot of the Whois asap!
If you can use Camstudio (http://camstudio.org/) to make a recording of the whois

why for? domain history can't be changed as well as history itself. i used domaintools for checking - I am pretty sure registrars also have access to such history. just ask them to see data from 2009-09-29. All the records after this date show are whois protected information of name.com
strider96 10-26-2009, 01:16 PM Well...
I have never been hijacked but I always thought that you needed evidence and of-course this is another piece of evidence....

if you are speaking about evidences that you ever owned the domain - all the registrars keep such records. they know who and what registered with/transferred to them. if you mean evidences of hacking activity like IP tracks - this info should also be kept by registrars.
while investigating transfer issues registrars take into consideration who was registrant at the moment of transfer. if hacker changed info to his - there can be problems with getting domain back. if you are still a registrant, the most probably gaining registrar will ask about documents proving your identity.
fwz2000 10-28-2009, 12:45 PM hello
the hacker changed the information, but i protect the domain information before hijacking...and he hijacked after that
?

whois protection doesn't influence account security. also it doesn't protect your pc from viruses.
if during transfer information was hacker's, the most probably you will receive a reply "since registrant confirmed transfer by answering to confirmation e-mail, we consider the transfer to be legitimate " etc. hopefully enom have evidences of account hacking and will open a transfer dispute.
