Hi there, I offer hosting to my client, but I have seen others than offer a software to their client to let them made their own design step by step like angelfire, you know for newbies, with templates, and let them choose their colors, put the text. etc... etc..

I want to have something like that to my clients ?

Do you know of any software of this kind ?
Preference free or open source, if not cheap is OK.

I allready search alot here and in hotscripts and nothing good.

So please if you can recommend me any one ?

Thnx a lot
Dan

If you are talking about offering it to your hosting customers then I believe this is what you are talking about, right?

Maybe clarify...

Hello,
Don't want this to sound like advertising, but in case you'd like to have a look at it, we have created an online service, not software, that creates more than average websites in my opinion. We offer HTML and Flash sites with lots of features. Your opinion on it would be nice, then if you need such a solution for your clients we could work something out, especially for WHT people. :)

Access to the service is at http://www.domisite.com

Did you ever install the psoft product?

I have been looking at it too.

My only concern is running it with Tomcat. Since the software is JSP based.

I have a few clients running Servlets, but it is a new area for us.

Is there a PHP equivalent? Maybe something running on Zend?

Thanks.

Nice looking site.

2 Q's

1) Are you going to be selling the software outright?
2) What language is it written in?
3) Will it work with virtual hosts so sites can use it on their own domains?

Ok, so it was 3 Q's

totlhosting,
3 answsers then :)
1) No we're not, we intend to keep this as an online service for now - ASP model (NOT ASP language ;) )
2) Several languages are used, because DomiSite produces HTML and Flash sites, and offers advanced features like automated image management and real-time sound and image Flash conversion. Let's mention Perl, PHP and ActionScript.
3) As it is an online service for now, the sites created with it can be accessed with their own domain name but cannot be separated from the engine. This would disable all the real-time management functions.
However the engine itself can be easily ported to any platform with only a few hours of modification - the DomiSite engine runs on Linux but works on any existing platform, and can be used with any browser.
Thanks for the comments about the look, feel free to try our demos.
