Hi

I'm looking for a webhost for a small PHP web based forum
which would number about 50 people on average and would not have a lot of bandwidth or diskspace expenditure. The forum would also hopefully send out an email in case of a reply notification or a new member signup. I would be willing to spend $20-30 per year for such hosting. I also have a seperate domain name which I would like to host with this account but paid for already. Any offers? Thanks! :)

Peter.

if your looking for an opinion, i would have to say go with www.okihost.com
i am going to start using them as soon as i get some cash together, but the owner is a real GEM and he has setup multiple trial accounts for me to get started and stuff. I already know ins and outs of the control panel without buying the site yet.. I really recomend them

50 people online at once?? you wont get that kinda hosting for $2-3 per month... you'd be better off getting a dedicated and sharing it with a few other forums. get a RS - $99 per month.

You can't just get an unmanaged server and expect it to work.

Of course, if you're just looking for something cheap, its perfect - you're site won't be online very often at best, but it is cheap. For the price of an (albeit expensive) cup of coffee per month I doubt you'll find _good_ web hosting for that price.
