Their live chat on their site has been "unavailable" for several weeks now.

They're rarely on AIM at peak times, and the same goes for MSN.

I had a support ticket open about htaccess disfunctioning and it has gone unanswered for something like 5-6 days.

My site, servers, etc is still functional but well, where are they? I even emailed their support department about 5 days ago and received no reply...

Just a post to keep you up to date with the happenings with hostmatix.com... but please could someone point me to what's going on maybe :confused:

Welcome to the hosting world. May I be the first to say that you have picked on of the thousands of horible hosts that are run by kids.

And maybe you should ask Hostmatix.com were there support went. We dont know :rolleyes:

Well I spoke to several different people on different occassions and I have been with this host since September with no problems with support...all of a sudden it's gone?

I finally received a reply to one of my tickets! It's about time :D

I been with hostmatix for 2 months. Their support is one of the best I seen, which usually replies in a few hours.

On ICQ, there seem to be always online.

They are never on AIM or MSN or on live chat anymore.

They used to be a good support based firm. Wonder what happened?

That's true, they had tremendous support a few months ago but it slowly deteriorated and now it's almost non-existant...I also wonder what happened...

At one point i think they were using boxadmin.com for outsourced System Admin and Tickets.

They still are...the replies I received to my support ticket recently were from boxadmin...

I rarely receive replies from people from hostmatix, most are from boxadmin.
