Hi all,
For the last few years I've been working on a few different sites. Unfortunately though I cannot get motivated to do the SEO and other external marketing stuff to make them successful so they all end up sitting there without much traffic. I've decided I should sell all these sites. I've sold sites in the past and it's usually easiest when I can just hand over the username and password for the account and let the new owner pay the bill, etc.

The problem though is it's hard to find a host that will allow you to have multiple accounts at the same time all with different usernames/passwords.

Does anyone know of a good host that maybe specializes in this sort of thing?

And PayPal acceptance would be the cherry on top.

Thanks for any help or ideas.

What you need is a reseller account. Using reseller account you can create separate account for each domain/site. Most of the hosting companies provide reseller accounts.

So just search in the offers section and get one as per your need.

But before buying one, do a good search on the provider, how reliable they are, how long they have been in business, how fast and knowledgeable their support is.

But then don't I end up being their hosting provider? I mean won't they come to me if they have problems with their hosting and such?

I guess I just want to sell my sites and have that be the end of the transaction, if that make sense...

Still a WHM/cPanel reseller account will work best, though with some pre-planed arrangement with your provider.

Let me explain, say you have a reseller account with a company, you have around 10 sites hosted there, now you sold one of the site. You will direct the buyer to open a billing account with your provider and in return the provider will move the sold account to your buyer's account and out of your reseller account.

This way you still have control over your other 9 sites. Also some of your buyers may like to host somewhere else and for that they can always transfer account to their provider.

What you have to workout with your provider is they should agree to all this, I know many will be ready to do this as they are gaining a client. Also what you have to workout are the financial aspects, like billing date of resold account, kind of hosting plan the resold account will be shifted to, their may be other points but that you will have to discuss with the provider.

Hopefully this plan of action will suit you.
