View Full Version : Does an open qrm allows this ?

Hello everyone,

I am new to all this cloud things, and trying to figure out the advantages cloud computing brings over standart virtualisation.

For me it is only useful if it can use cpu ressource from many physical nodes into one client node.

So I was wondering if it is really possible now, and wiht openqrm.

Let's say I put 3 old boxes in a cloud (AMD XP 2400) and configure à cloud node requiring 6000 Mhz, will it span the required cpu ressources on the 3 amd boxes ?

Or is it limited to the maximum cpu power of one node ?

Thank you for any light you could bring to this.

let put the thing like this if you snap it better :
if I put 3 clouds, each capable of 500 gallons of rain / square meter in an open qrm setup, will I be able to ask a rainfall of 900 Gallons / square meter or will I be limited to the maximum amount of rain the biggest cloud can produce ?
