Okay heres the deal, I want to create a 88x31 pixel button for my site forum-forum.com...

I want it to be animated, but I want the animation to be like text being typed with a cursor and such, where I can set the delays so it looks like somone is realistically typing it. I am about to attempt it with image ready, setting delays on one letter at a time and having the cursor flash, but before I do, i would like to know if there is an "easy way out". I would like the file to be an animated gif < 15kb in size. If anyone knows of a "gif animator" program that has animation affects, and one of them is a type of "fake typing" affect, like the one I described...PLEASE TELL ME :)

This will be one hell of a button either way, but it will be one hell of a headache if i have to animate each letter and the cursor by hand in imageready.

A forum...(typed semi slow)

(pause, then clear)

About... (typed semi slow)

(another dramatic pause, then clear)

Forums. (typed fast)

(dramatic pause, then restart).

Regardless of the other stuff they try to get you to buy, GifAnimator5 is a nice little stand alone proggy, they should suit you.

you can make this using adobe image ready (comes with photoshop 5-6-7) :)
