View Full Version : Everyone.net
F**Newbie 11-18-2002, 03:03 AM Hello,
I am interested in signing the outsourced email programm at everyone.net.
Can you please give me your feedback on them, please.
I heard that they spam their own email-adresses. But do they do that also for the outsourced program? Are they spamming or there clients.
Are their alternatives?
I need about 2000 email-adresses in a year and expanding.
Thanks

Yes, Exactly.
I found this when I forgot to change MX record of a website and received about 1000 Advertisement Emails in just about 12 hours.
Most of them were advertise emails posted by everyone.net itself (you agree and even choose among the spam lists they offer).

AHDOnline 11-18-2002, 10:25 AM for a low-cost mail solution also try looking at Netmongol.com I have been with then for a few months now and have not had any issues. He just moved over to new servers, and things have been great. highly recommend.

actually its their email software :)
F**Newbie 11-18-2002, 05:57 PM Are they doing it also with their outsourced clients?
I know that in America they have a special program where email is free if you accept pub-emails.
Thanks for your help !

unless you setup pop3 login instead of the web based
FloHost 11-19-2002, 03:32 AM If you like I can write you a small script that will allow people to register with you and it will automatically create their account via cpanel.
AlaskanWolf 11-19-2002, 03:45 AM that would be great!
Yes it is very good.
By the way if I wanted to offer such a service I would consider some points:
- Only web access for free users with limmited contacts in address sections (cc, bcc, to) for example only 5 persons.
- Pop3 access for identified people for a small fee
- Something like Squirrel which works on standard ports as some people have limmited access to other ports (CPanel is at 2095)

Servstra-Sales 11-19-2002, 05:52 AM This company sure does love to SPAM. We seem to receive their crap all the time.
F**Newbie 11-19-2002, 03:07 PM In fact there is a little bit a smaal problem by doing it at my own host.
I will resell the adresses, so no free users.
But my worry goes to the following:
I have different clubs (rivals) that are interested in email.
In the day before the match people will sent email to the other party saying . Our team will beat you, we are better.
So this is a kind of nice spam, as they sent it to people they know.
But what is better that to get them back by shutting down his domain due to inexisting spam-reasons.
This is way I will not do it on a normal host.
So, anyone other host, that doesn't spam their users?
By the way, got guarantees from them that they don't spam paying customers??
Can you please send me the script. I will thank you forever !

For one, it is not advertising when I am doing it for free, and 2; you need to shut the hell up because you are behing an *******. I can leave WHT any time I feel like it however I feel it is my duty to tell all of you ******** off and bring you to the reality of the real world. :D
Now, about that script; If you would like a copy of it I can send it to you if you drop me an email. I will reply to your email and attach the script to it. It will be fairly simple and easily configurable. My email address is travis@flohost.com - in the subject of the email just put "cpanel email script".
interactive 11-21-2002, 06:01 PM It's advertising plain and simple. Even if you don't like it. Another thing, why don't you ever back up any of the trash you talk? I'd like to see you make me "shut the hell up". You better watch yourself. What goes around always comes around. Kind of funny how you get off calling me an *******. Yet you come here, expect its everyone else's problem that you scam people. Go get a life, I'm sick of your garbage. Looks like we wont have to do with you anymore though due to the fact your banned.
