What service do you need?

Host Gator is a good host for the price. As long as you are not running web spiders, crawlers and a ton of server sides. (maybe you can run them if you keep it minimal. Not sure. Just unlimit providers may give you the boot for this)

If you prefer to outsource webhosting support, I would recommend you IT companies based in Ukraine they can provide you with lower rates and better service quality.

Probably this (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/wiki/Companies_providing_tech_support) will be useful.

We3Cares, Bobcares, CliffSupport and SupportSages all have excellent reviews on WHT. However, Bobcares is a bit pricey though.

You can see just how good he is! His support is on 24/7 he charges a small fee per ticket issue.

By the way, what are the average rates to support hosting company today? I mean how much you are planning to pay sales, presales, billing and techical support engineers? Would you like to have a company supported by LiveChat, tickets or phones?

HI,

How much is your budget? Are you looking for Per Server or Per Ticket?

Regards,
Bobby

I think that it is better to specify the budget in terms of number of people and hourly rates for their support. By the way what is your opinion about outsourcing the support to the countries of Eastern Europe? Despite the fact the English language is not the native language for local people I think they can provide quite a good support at much lower rates. In addition due to the current crisis US dollar rate has grown up signifficantly, so you can benefit from this as well.

Well it depends on your requirements. Are you looking for 24/7 ticket support or 24/7 ticket with live chat support?

Please find the list of technical support companies from the Wiki link at http://www.webhostingtalk.com/wiki/Companies_providing_tech_support

About the cost, it will depend on your requirements. Contact the companies from the above list and talk to them about your budget and requirement. I am sure you will get a good deal from majority of the providers.

Another thing that I would like to highlight here is not to go with cheap support. If you want to offer the best quality service to your customers then go with the best support company. That way your customers will be happy and they will speak about your service to others (Word of Mouth) and get you more business. So the value spend on support is like an investment for future which will get you good ROI.
