Acting in such a way you will be able to avoid transfer. You see when transferring a domain between registrars you are taking a risk to lose it. Thus it is better to register a domain at reliable comany from the very beginning. Nothing wrong with finding the lowest price among established registrars. But to trade an established registrar for a flaky one in order to save a buck or so a year?
