I have a question for current users of Authorize.net, how do you handle recurring monthly charges when using the Authorize.net Virtual Terminal? Is there a way to have it done automatically so we dont have to store credit card data?


Regarding Echo Merchant accounts:

For recurring billing do you have to have your own sign up script that customers use on your site, or is there an automated routine that echo has?

Do you have access to the credit card numbers stored in the virtual terminal? Would this make it possible for me to manually enter the credit card number every month by looking it up without having to store the numbers myself?

Actually no. You will need to generate Batch file (from your billing software) that you will upload every month to your Authorize.Net account for processing. This is the only way it works...
