Is there a way to format the link for my WHMCS affiliate so that it goes to a landing page different than my main page for that affiliate only?

Your best best is to contact Matt and the guys at whmcs.com, as they are the most qualified to answer your question. I believe it is possible to do what you ask, but I would put the question to them.
