TheServerExperts 10-06-2009, 11:34 AM I think x-cart has an sales person on this forum have you tried contacting them? www.x-cart.com Hope this helps. KmacK 10-06-2009, 11:40 AM I guess it depends on what you are comfortable with. I would suggest demoing a few to see witch one fits the best for you. Check out: OpensourceCMS.com dotflyer 10-06-2009, 11:04 PM i think he is not looking for free one. check following paid carts. http://shopping-cart-review.toptenreviews.com/ The-Pixel 10-07-2009, 12:21 AM I always though ZenCart was great. Avactis 10-07-2009, 09:02 AM I always though ZenCart was great. As far I know the upgrade of ZenCart is not an easy job. As for shopping carts, you can read the reviews (before the final choice) at HotScripts: http://www.hotscripts.com/category/php/scripts-programs/e-commerce/shopping-carts/ KatzenJammer 10-07-2009, 02:01 PM I would suggest either pinnacle cart or Miva Merchant - both are well establish, fully supported, PCI-DSS compliant carts. Jaber 10-07-2009, 03:59 PM I recommend Miva. XCart 10-08-2009, 07:43 AM anyone recommend me good shoping cart with reseller/partner ficilities. good support and features. I believe there are multiple points that would effect a choice of the software for your reseller business: functionality of software, pricing policy, terms and conditions set by the company - software provider, etc. I think x-cart has an sales person on this forum have you tried contacting them? As for our company, yes, we do offer special prices (http://www.x-cart.com/pricing.html) for bulk license purchases, this opportunity is used by our software resellers. WebfusionUS 10-13-2009, 06:45 PM There are several good options for open source shopping carts. Check out Magento Commerce, which has an active development community. vagabondos 10-13-2009, 08:24 PM Magento Commerce and Virtuemart are some good shopping carts. inspiron 10-14-2009, 11:12 AM There are several free shopping cart like Oscommerce and Zencart that are completely free and offers most features that you expect in modern shopping cart. alex-developer 10-14-2009, 11:46 AM I recommend the following: oscommerce prestashop opencart Andreyfidrya 10-14-2009, 12:38 PM My suggestions are Zen Cart, X Cart and Cube Cart. Hope that these e-commerce solutions will meet your requirements completely. dgoodale 10-15-2009, 10:34 AM There are so many threads asking this question. It goes to show how many options there are out there and how hard it is to keep up with them all. Locally hosted: X-Cart (http://www.x-cart.com) Also, many people seem to like Magento for a locally hosted solution, but I've not tried it before. Remotely hosted: Canada Cart (http://www.canadacart.ca) Mal's E-commerce (http://www.mals-e.com) Have you decided on whether you are going to run the cart on your own server, or if you want a remotely hosted service? innov8tion 10-16-2009, 09:54 PM Some of the best and brightest: www.magentocommerce.com www.interspire.com (or bigcommerce.com hosted) www.cs-cart.com These are the ones that have piqued my interest as actually moving FORWARD. To me, X-Cart looks like it's straight out of the 80's, Zencart not much better, and OS Commerce looking the worst of them all. Let's see some innovation in eCommerce, come on. Loving the checkout process that CS-Cart has - so beautiful. And all three I mentioned have very well designed admin panels with technology that doesn't look like it's from 1993. Very well done. pgge3 10-18-2009, 01:21 AM I would recommend you also CS-Cart and X-Cart. Both are excellent shopping carts, feature rich. In addition CS-Cart do allow reselling with bigger discounts than X-Cart. mudassirjaved 10-18-2009, 02:36 AM zen cart is also good websitedesign 10-19-2009, 01:22 PM Magento is the best for full feature shopping carts. Very powerful backend. For simple websites with a couple products then just go with PayPal 'buy now' button. Just copy/paste code directly into your current website. ForrestY 10-28-2009, 03:44 PM I too would recommend Miva Merchant as a reliable cart with great support and an easy to use interface. KatzenJammer 11-03-2009, 10:37 AM Anyone have any feedback on Joomla? Seems like a few large companies has adopted their platform: •MTV Networks Quizilla (Social networking) - http://www.quizilla.com •IHOP (Restaurant chain) - http://www.ihop.com •Harvard University (Educational) - http://gsas.harvard.edu •Citibank (Financial institution intranet) bobbob 11-04-2009, 07:49 AM I have Aspdotnetstorefront ML version brilliant app. a site i built using ML australia.continentalclothing.jp i have been a member since 2005.. in fact i have and extra version that i do not use - ML Aspdotnetstorefront Shopping Cart (Version 8.0) any body want to buy let me know .. thanks freshdesign2010 11-10-2009, 12:13 PM I think X-Cart is best..there are many features and user friendly. AirJordansHead 11-10-2009, 11:14 PM I always though ZenCart was great. Side with you. I built all my own websites and some of my friends' sites on zen-cart. It is really powerful and flexible. Even better, it has a nice support forum. Really helpful for me. :) mudassirjaved 11-11-2009, 02:40 AM yea zen cart is good... reffer101 11-11-2009, 11:52 PM Is there a cart that i can use on Blogs, like Blogspot or wordpress.???? teachforjune-Scott 11-12-2009, 12:20 AM There are many addon carts for wordpress. Do a search in their plugin section. dotflyer 11-12-2009, 12:47 AM Is there a cart that i can use on Blogs, like Blogspot or wordpress.???? Yes lot of plugins and themes available, many are free. Arcadie 11-12-2009, 02:56 AM Seems like everyone on here recommending shopping carts have never actually used them to run a successful and thriving e-commerce store. However, thats probably because they are all web host. Stay away from magento. It looks nice, has a cool looking backend, but the code is complete crap. They gave you all the features you don't need and none that you do. There are 2 carts i would reccomend under $200/month Zoovy.com Volusion.com Don't waste your time with all of the other crap out their, if you are serious about starting an online store, use the best software available. Now i dont know a ton about hosting and networking, but what i do know is e-commerce. That's how i have made my entire living, starting and maintaining e-commerce business's. Then selling them after they are established. Avactis 11-12-2009, 04:16 AM There are 2 carts i would reccomend under $200/month I think, it is better to buy open-source code software for this money and pay 200$/mo for powerful dedicated server. dani0157 01-27-2010, 12:23 PM It really depends on what you are expecting of the shopping cart script. If you are looking for a free or paid script. I personally use Zen-Cart, however Zen-Cart is not "out of the box" software. You would need to install some extra modules like SEO Magic for SEO friendly urls. Or you can use OS Commerce. There is a new version 3 that includes a lot of new features (out of the box ) that zen-cart dont have . Thank you Ariolander 01-28-2010, 01:19 AM I think, it is better to buy open-source code software for this money and pay 200$/mo for powerful dedicated server. If you find the "free" stuff not enough for you not only that $200 is enough to buy many excellent pay carts like X-Cart, CubeCart or Avactis v4. Spend a bit more and that is not far from CS-Cart's pricing. They are as fully featured as those monthly service fee carts and several of them are open source. Like the above poster I feel those huge monthly and service fees are better spent on your own dedicated servers. Best of all no product limitations and dedicated resources rather than some sorta shared enviroment. No reason for monthly fees unless you really feel like leasing your licence. TheEcommPro 02-04-2010, 02:16 PM I recommend Megento for full features & powerful back end. james_2020 02-05-2010, 08:14 AM i suggest Interspire Shopping Cart. it's very easy to use! fancypocket 02-05-2010, 09:20 AM Interspire support is very slow and most of the features are copied from cs-cart. bilalamjad3 02-06-2010, 01:52 AM some best shopping cart are 1)auctive commerece 2)sunshop 3)fortune 3 4)big commerce. Ariolander 02-07-2010, 08:27 AM I am not a big fan of Interspire's pricing model and user support. They don't have much publicly available information and were very aggressive in marketing me when I did a trial. I found CS-Cart had a lot of the same functionality and a lot more documentation that made transition to it easier overall and at a fraction of the price. I like that +400 page PDF but sorta wish they had a web version =P Still either way while comparing documentation and transitions I don't think I had a more pleasant experience than Avactis as a developer because their equally good +300page PDF/website documentation and community forums. bilalamjad3 02-09-2010, 01:44 AM check this link sweety http://www.shopping-cart-reviews.com/ GAPMULTIMEDIA 02-09-2010, 01:12 PM I use CS-CART is a good script martfox 02-09-2010, 03:37 PM anyone recommend me good shoping cart with reseller/partner ficilities. good support and features. Take a look here: http://forum.cs-cart.com/showthread.php?p=73725#post73725 There is a good discusion about X-Cart. bilalamjad3 02-10-2010, 01:49 AM zen cart and xcart is best. keserhosting 02-10-2010, 11:10 AM Zen cart will be good option. dinhquanghuy 02-10-2010, 12:25 PM Joomla+virtuemart is my choice Losvre 02-10-2010, 12:38 PM No one says anything about ubercart! Prefont 02-10-2010, 03:23 PM There are a lot of good carts out there. However I think the most robust, PCI carts are; CRE Commerce Pinnacle Cart 1ShoppingCart Shopsite |
