View Full Version : Paysystems questions
juanmanuel 11-17-2002, 03:37 AM I hope some customers of PaySystems can help me:
What it means with "Rolling reserve 5.0%"?
May I use it in multiple sites?
How is your expirience with them?
Thanks for your time.

They hold back this for 6mths to cover chargebacks etc. You then have this released to you each month after the 6mths etc.

Not really. Your logo for your business appears on the payment page and unless you have some shared logo image there, it doesn't look too professional etc...

Mostly good. They did have some major issues (http://webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=85923) with their recurring processing, but that seems to be corrected now. They pay ontime. I've never had a late wire transfer in the last 6mths that I've been receiving weekly wire transfers.
2Grumpy 11-17-2002, 03:13 PM I just filled out my application for their services.
Hope they work out :D
akashik 11-17-2002, 04:32 PM Gary,
If you don't hear from them it's best to give them a bit of a poke along. Some people experience a waiting game that's often paysystems themselves awaiting word from you about setting the account to 'live' status.
Recurring issue does indeed appear to be fixed. With luck it should be smooth sailing again for a long time. Two years of using them, and no real complaints worth mentioning. :)

Yep, looks that way. Everything seems back to normal.
ThePrimeHost 11-18-2002, 11:44 PM Gary,
Both yourself and AussieBob are well respected and followed leaders (if you will) of these forums. That being said, what made you switch from 2Checkout? The actual 800 number? Is their customer support any better?
I value your opinion.
Best Regards,
-Darrell B

Gary's respected. I'm just a trouble maker. :D

I've only used Paysystems, so I can't comment on the service offered by 2Checkout.
2Grumpy 11-19-2002, 12:52 AM Lower rates @ Paysystems :D
There's been an awful lot of billing failures lately, not that that would make me switch by itself, crap happens as they say. But I've just realized I've paid over $12,100 so far this year to 2checkout in fees and that makes me realize that 30 cents + 2.9% is a LOT better than 45 cents + 5.5% per transaction! So that's the main reason, to save cash.
ckevin 11-19-2002, 10:01 AM I have used PaySystems more than 1 year now, although they have some fault such as late payment, and recurring bill problems, they are still good to me, great support, and fraud protection!

I am not seeing those same rates, Gary. Have they made you an offer that you can't refuse?
Kind Regards,

2Grumpy 11-19-2002, 06:33 PM Sorry:
http://www.paysystems.com/psMerchant_account1.htm
I was looking at the IMA merchant account not the IBA.
Looks like I may as well go ahead with my incorporation before finishing the merchant account procedure though.
ThePrimeHost 11-19-2002, 06:38 PM I see (said the blind man). :D
