I had a client come to me for hosting who was with 1and1 so i set everything up and changed the DNS over to me on the 20th sept to wait 72 hr and nothing changed.

I called 1and1 who said it was due to Registrant type been unkown.
So i sorted this right away.

And waited the 24-48 hrs to get a DNS updated this is now the 3rd and still waiting. I a have phoned everyday to get no where, yesterday got told i would have a update by last night guess what never got it.

What can i do?

What you should have done was lowered the TTL to 1 to 5 minutes before you started making these changes. Then you would not have to wait so long.

Unfortunately a lot of times when making DNS changes you simply have to wait if you have not prepared before hand.

What 13 days so far and still waiting

Are you sure you changed the nameservers for the domain correctly, as it is still set to 1and1 http://www.intodns.com/scottishferrets.co.uk

I changed a domain dns with them yesterday and the changes have all be done..

You need to change the DNS again or contact them. Because it doesn't take this long even with 1and1...

Sorted now will wait and see if they tell me why it taking so long.
