Is VBScript only supported in native MS ASP on a Win platform or is it supported on Linux in some form of ASP? Also, are there other things I should be concerned with if migrating a Win ASP account to Linux ASP? MS Access support?

It is possible with Chillisoft ASP (which has since been renamed to Sun[tm] ONE Active Server Pages).

It's not free though but it is the best way to get VBScript ASP on a *nix machine.

Eh ASP on a Linux box is sooooo *dirty*
Do it the right way and get it up & running on a Windows box.

That way everything will correctly, all features will be available to you, etc.
I don't understand why people don't grasp this concept ...

If you're on a Linux box use PHP/MySQL
If you're on a Windows box use CFM, ASP, .NET, whatever ...

Probably over 1/2 to 2/3rds of my pages are ASP with VBscript with most of the remaining in PHP, but unfortunately, it's difficult for me to find a Windows host that offers JSP, mySQL, multiple ftps and a control panel that offers more than just email addy's all around the $10/m entry barrier.

I doubt you will find many if any at that rate.

I'm currently looking into multiple accounts and upping the budget to somewhere around $15/m. I'm not sure I like the idea of splitting my site across domains but may not have a choice. I do like the idea of having benefits from both though.
