Do you recommend 2Checkout? It seems that they are having so many problems these days it would be better to accept postcards with people's credit card numbers on them :P I would like HostCharge but I can't stick around for another 6 months for them to start accepting signups again. Any recommendations?

Should be moved to another forum...

<<MOD NOTE: Thread moved>>

I would recommend 2checkout personally.

NO.

I agree, if you use postcards or a check in the mail at least you know you can take it to the bank and someone is not sitting on your money which you may (will) never see. In that respect check in the mail is better (unless it bounces).

Alternatively, you may try paysystems.com - they are not bad, I have used them for an year.

Is your NO referring to 2CheckOut.com? But I don't see any supporting clause here!

Nameslave,

I meant - No, I don't recommend 2checkout.

But I don't see any supporting clause here!
Someone asks a simple question, I give a simple answer :) Just do a serch in the forums for recent posts regarding this and you will find a lot of supporting clause.

You can also do a search in the forum specifically for my posts and you might find my thread posted about 8 months ago.

I hope you weren't serious about that....
A lot of old/retail business prefer paying by a check and also a lot of new internet users + paranoid users who do not want to pay online. I don't run a hosting company but on my website I accept checks and do get a few each month. Though it could be a minor hassle, it could also be looked upon as additional business. If you try you might know whether you have any customers wanting to pay by a check.
