We are going to start sending out welcome letters with your box info. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO LOGIN TO THE BOXES UNTIL 8PM OTHERWISE YOU CAN CAUSE HARM TO THE INSTALLATION AND INCUR A REINSTALLATION FEE OF $300.
http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=87191&perpage=15&pagenumber=13
Then don't send it out until you're all done!!!
That was for the 15th... and orders have been taken a week before.
I still could not login to the box.
I think DedicatedNOW cannt meet the deadline but they know how to *do business* by sending out emails on the promised-delivered-date, but network/servers/staff, or whatever are not fully operational yet.

And the reason you started a new thread about this is because?
I don't mean to be rude, however I know that their team is packed with work and has a LOT of servers to put online and configure. That can take some time to do...So they are sending all of the information out so that as soon as the users servers are done they will be able to login and they wont need to email everybody later with their server infomation (increasing the wait time).
I don't see what the problem is...
Just my $0.02 :D

One of my boxes is not reachable, but I understand that they have alot to do. 1 day or 2 won't make the difference.

how will one attempt to login when the server is not ready and without any IPs given out? Trying to login to their switch/router perhaps? :)

What I mean is why not just keep it in the previous thread were people are talking about everything?
Seems a bit wierd to start a new thread when people are talking about the same thing in another thread inwhich you link to.
Or maybe its just me ;)

I'm not sure about you, but I read that it was a presale and the servers would be turned on the 15th. While it maybe true that you can't login at the moment, your post implies that they have missed a deadline by a week and today is the 16th if there is a problem a 24hour fix is reasonable. I think you will find they have you up and running really soon.
My box was setup when promised and I ordered 1 hour before they closed the ordering monday morning. I have had fast responses to all of my inquiries via email and am currently happy with them.
You were not even suppose to get your server until yesterday (Nov. 15) so like ideafusion said, you must have misread.
Give them time and I'm sure everything will work out.

Oh cmon give the nice people at DedicatedNow/pwebtech a break will ya?
One thing you all know is that they're packed to the brim with work to bring out all the servers for us.
Second thing is that it seems pwebtech's mailserver seems to have problem sending out mails to some domains/ISPs. I know this because I started worrying when I tried to email Matt/Jay without any response. I tried with another e-mail account of mine and they responded, telling me that they did e-mail me all the updates/information, just that it never reached me... a mailserver glitch I suppose... so they resend to me at my other e-mail account and everything's good now..
I sent in a support request to their techs hoping to look into and solve this e-mail sending problem...
So if you think you never got your server info and think that they ripped you off, think again... it could be the same problem I faced above... so try contact matt or jay or support at dedicatednow.com and see if indeed there were some e-mail comm issues.
Anyway, kudos to the guys in DedicatedNow especially Jay, Matt, jason - yeah, aussie bob said it right, you can't spell! :p

The guys at pwebtech set up solid boxes. If it takes longer than they planned to do it correctly, then so be it in my eyes (yes, we've ordered one too). I'd rather have a box that's set up right, and hums along than to get one early and have it fall apart left and right.
Unless it's your first box, then you shouldn't really require it instantly unless you left ordering an extra too late.
