So I've pretty much made the jump that nobody ever wants to make and decided to help out a few friends of mine who are looking at creating an adult live video stream site. I'm running the entire backend setting up the video gear and renting a dedicated server to receive the stream and host all the site files. I essentially run every electronic aspect of the business including payments.

The part I have no clue about is how to design a site for the adult entertainment market. Honestly I'm not really wanting to go browse porn all day long for design inspiration, so if anyone has any recommendations on where to look for ideas please let me know.

unique content helps...also, mainstream porn is hard to sell...it has to be some kind of unique niche that people won't find on free tube sites....

as far as design goes...free content on main page helps...also, u have to go thru a payment processor, dhdmedia, ccbill are good...

Risky business, ccbill.com seems to be the prefered choice for adult related websites when it comes to payments.

Hope this helps.

Yeah we're looking to strictly focus with live webcam, maybe doing a 1 on 1 basis but I'm thinking probably rooms with 10 or more viewers. They also want to rent a house and have streaming cameras in every room and at least 4 girls living in it. Italians with deep pockets throwing money at me to launch it...

Looks like lots of them like to use Epassporte too. Like it or not, you will have to do some research looking at other adult sites to see how they successfully promote their sites :)

CCbill looks ok, they just take a chunk of each transaction. Epassporte probably won't work as the only payout options appear to be US bank transfer or wire transfer ($50 cost). I take it Paypal won't touch this type of business?

PayPal drops you at even the hit of something adult or pornographic.
