I'm struggling to build my web hosting website. I did it once in the WordPress, loved the design. but missing features like customers management and domain registration. Installed AccountLab Plus to see if thats better, and maybe it was but how would I stick all that system into my website? Then now I have started from the beginning with phpcoin, but website seems to look ugly and the amount of clicks and settings you have to do is to much for me and I did say website looks ugly.
What do I do is there any software which is easy to install and integrated with the web design, as this for me seem to be a big problem. I would like to use google checkout and be able to be online soon.

or am I not patient enough?

Use WHMCS as the billing system, and pay a good designer a few hundred dollars to make you a complete site.

I would hire a designer to design and compose the website you desire. Once that is complete - find someone to code the website in XHTML / CSS. Once you have the coding complete, your able to find someone that can integrate WHMcs. If your lucky, you can find a web design and development freelancer or agency that can complete all that tasks you need.

I would first find someone to design it for you. If you like how the company / freelancer composed the website then speak with them about the coding and integration. They may also offer a package deal if you obtain all 3 elements. You will simply have to search and obtain information which will help you determine the best freelancer / company for you.

I think your relaying to much on the applications (AccountLab Plus and PHP Coin). I hope I've been helpful. Best of luck!

WHMCS... outrages price! and I would have to pay some programmer to do it anyway, is there anything user friendly, open source or within $100 mark?

Or I will ask differently, might be easier for every one. What sort of money I need to have it sorted, as I think I'll rather pay than waste any more time

WHMCS is a good billing solution. There are some others which may be little less expensive, like ClientExec and WHMAutoPilot. Reason WHMCS is a little more may be because it is a 'complete solution' which includes built in helpdesk and knowledgebase, and as such is very popular.

Well, that's very good point esc, it's complete solution. But I don't need helpdesk or knowledgebase, as my support is out sourced and available directly from customers custom control panel. I have all of that sorted out, I just need a website with the billing and optional domain registration. I think my requirement must not be usual as we don't sell cpanel, ensim, plesk or any other xpanel based plans.

Use WHMCS(You can get 15 Days Free Trial)

also if you don't html coding then you can use free html hosting templates.

or make a hosting site in a virtual editor.

because of you're beginner, first read hosting tutorials like how to make a hosting account, what is whm, whmphp,cPanel

how to make account in whm and how to make, delete, edit email,db,others in cPanel :)

kunnusingh thank you for your advice, I use whm/cpanel since it came out, I can set up VPS on my system in 3 minutes and get it backed up on amazon s3 in 5 minutes. But I can't, don't want waste my time playing with whmcs if I don't need all of that functionality. I just need easy to manage website with billing system.
Something like ecommerce for hosting. Don't need helpdesk, automatic account creation in cpanel, plesk or whatever.

:) you can't run hosting business without spending 16+ Hour Per day.

but if you want to open a hosting site then you can hire a programmer or buy a establish web hosting site.

or Set Automated Account Creation. Set Already Set Automatic Reply in whmcs ticket area.

buy tutorials(so your client don't need Support, helpdesk :)

You have a Amazing Skills in VPS Setup,cPanel, other :)

Read my previous post, my support is outsourced completely, this is business for me, so don't try to be smart, I simply want to organize it properly so I don't have to work 16 hours a day as you do.

I think you are not patient enough indeed. Hosting business requires constant attention, especially from the beginning. You need to take good care of your customers, build up good reputation. Slowly as you grow, you can think of hiring someone to watch it over for you.

I realy believe that you guys don't read the posts at all. I did not asked for business advice.
My customers receive the best support they can get on the market and all they needs are taken care of.
My question was about the website, but I did asked in the wrong forums I should do it in the design section, I would have answers from the designers, not newbies who just post for the sake of getting highier post count.

I think everyone here is missing what Peter is saying.

He does not need support because it is clearly outsourced and so, it is not an issue here.

He does not need to work 16 plus hours a day if his business is organized in such a way that it makes it easy for him to run it.

He is skilled with servers, vps setup etc so he has been around the hosting business a while.

What he is interested in is finding the ideal billing software first, then a design which will integrate into it seamlessly for him to attract the necessary clients to make his business profitable.

If my above statement is correct, I would suggest that Mr Peter focus on the design first, since its the design which attracts the customers to buy, then focus on the billing software, which will keep the customers buying.

I'm guessing you do hardly have any programing knowledge. If that is the case you should stay away from phpcoin and econ etc.

Invest in WHMCS because it will save you a lot of time and headache in the future. Dont make the cost an issue because when your business starts to pick up paying for WHMCS will be like pocket change

If you do not want to pay the price, simply purchase a reseller account which offers it free to you, so you will pay even less for something so "expensive". Use your original server in conjunction with your dedi server and integrate the whole thing into WHMCS

------SUMMARY-----
1) Focus on design
2) Purchase WHMCS and integrate into design (payton does it for $25)
3) If you cant afford WHMCS purchase a reseller account which offers you it free (reseller account are betwn $10-30)
4) Use your reseller account with your dedicated server to maximize profits

I hope this helps. Good luck :D

Developing your own billing system is the way forward... it's what we're doing and should be ready shortly. WHMCS and other off the shelf scripts can only take you so far.

Thank you cpoalmighty you right I can not program as I'm unpatient beast, (but loved assembler coding in Basic on ZX Spectrum, did some fantastic custom fonts those days). I have had a chat with the pros and I will have someone helping me with the website, so I can concentrate on simple stuff.
Thanks

your most welcome Mr Peter. I was reading throu thee forums and saw you got someone to do it in the designs forum I think. Im glad you got thro with someone. BTW...Nothing is wrong with being impatient, the prob arises when you are impatient for the wrong things. Everything takes time and im glad to see you are taking the time to give someone else the job you know you are weak at. :)
Cheers mate

You are right, webhosting on this forum is perceived as a side business for unemployed programmers and that's how it's dealt with here. The true picture of starting this busines is a bit different. All those billing systems are for the above people, if you are one man band. Don't get me wrong I do admire people who can do single handed, great web design in photoshop, make a website of it in dreamwaver, improve the code and connect by API with the billing system and in the same time taking care about their customers.
But I believe there is a need for WordPress of Billing systems, for people who can't do php/sql. That's all.;)

Use WHMCS or AWBS.

There are many companies out there who will convert your XHTML designs into themes that work with these billing systems.
