Right now I have 3 clients using ASP and .NET 2.0
one of the clients also use kayako helpdesk so I need PHP 5.0 and MySQL as well.

SQL Server of SQL Express is also needed

I´d like to have at least 8 to 10 domains hosting in the server. I only need like 2GB of space in disk and 30GB to 50GB bandwith is more than enough.

Budget target around 140 year most or 250 for 2 year.

I am seen much hosts, but many had reviews also. So PLEASE help me get the best cost benefit.

Your requirements sound reasonable. Do you have any preference for location? Also, I'd recommend you to stay away from SQL Express as it has lot of limitations and not recommended on production web facing environments.

I know about SQL Express. First choice is SQL Server without question.

I would prefer on US

Look at http://eurovps.com/web_hosting
Discounts for 1-year and 2-year pre-pay, see https://hspc.eurovps.com/hspc/index.php

I've been a paying customer of theirs for 3+ years, using Windows.

Going by your budget you should be looking at multi-domain hosting. That will work out if you will be managing all sites via control panel. If each client requires their own control panel, you will need a reseller account. You don't need a vps.

Maybe get a dedicated server, you can get a decent 1 with raid 2 for about £60-90. That would be your best bet. =]

I would recommend you taste the host on the monthly based fees and then continue with annual subscription

This is incorrect information. SQL Express limitations are database size - 4GB and the amount of RAM it can address - 1GB. Its a perfect solution for a small number of databases (ie less than 100). There are NO concurrent connection limitations on SQL Express.

Agreed about couple of limitations mentioned. However, I don't think I mentioned about concurrent connection limitation on SQL Express - there is no concurrent workload governor limitation in SQL Express which was present in MSDE.

One very important missed out limitation of SQL Express is the number of CPU's that can be used by engine - Express edition is limited to 1 CPU usage which according to me is a very serious limitation and a bottleneck in addition to amount of RAM it can address (1 GB as you correctly mentioned). Hence, I never recommend using SQL Express in web facing production environment - just to ensure that web application performance does not suffer due to database engine limitations :)

Good day!

Its also missing SQL Agent, Profiler tool and a UI to import/export data.

a UI to import/export data.

Management Studio?

I just took a peak with Management Studio and there the import/export wizard is in 2008. Nothing in the Start Menu as found in full version. However it looks like you can't save the package to disk (during export)

And I have this gnawing thought in the back of my head that MS does not support it.

SQL Express is only good for webmaster with the benefit of developing websites and using integrated database on their computer.

You can request free quote using this link (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/hostquote.php)
I'm sure you can find a reliable host that fits your budget.

All you need is a reliable Windows shared hosting plan. You will get a good deal on yearly sign up but make sure that the hosting company offers 30 day money back guarantee with 24x7 support.

I agree you don't really need much more than a Windows Shared Hosting Plan. Most Windows Shared Hosting plans should include at least 1 SQL Server Database and support php 5 and MySQL as well. You should easily be able to find what you're wanting using the hostquote, or searching the shared hosting plans in the advertising forum.

I use Arvixe. Cheap and very good service. Very good customer support (which is very important).

I am currently host my ASP.NET website with ASPHostPortal.com. They specialise Windows and ASP.NET-based hosting, but they also supports PHP and MySQL database. You may take a look at their shared hosting plan which start from $5.00/month only. Good luck :)
