I have two questions. Do you know which affiliate software hostgator uses?
How can you track sales if you use WHMCS as a billing software and idevaffiliate as an affiliate software?

WHMCS has a built in affiliate program you may look into using, as for a integration of the two, either create one, pay someone to code one, or look to see if a module has already been made.

HostGator has a custom written affiliate software that directly integrates with ModernBill.

Well we need better affiliate software than whmcs. I have sent support ticket to idevaffiliates.

AFAIK Hostgator uses a heavily customized and improved version of Ultimate Affiliate from Groundbreak. I think they're also working on a totally proprietary solution though.

jrox would be on by "possible affiliate software" list, though I've only ever used it as an affiliate.

Thanks Dan. I see that you are an affiliate. From your point of view is it worth buying iDavAffiliate?

iDebaffiliate gets a vote from me.

idevaffiliate seemed fine to me. A while back there was an issue with a certain host, where sales would not be tracked properly. Eventually the host switched to jrox.

So, I would suggest you to research what their support is like. I seem to recall more than one host complaining about that.
