A lot of design companies may operate differently to others, based on how they have their design process laid out (or in some cases of how they have no design process at all), how they bill customers and how they distribute work to clients.

Do you have any knowledge of experience of the design sector such as even having worked in it yourself? That would be a big help in allowing you to understand how you should get setup :)
