ok i have a digital camera and that little devil of a dog i used to have chewed up my pc cable for it

anyhow i figured since it was a serial cable that it would be quicker transfer speeds if i got a compact flash card reader does anyone have any experiance with one that they have used and i am looking to not have to spend a fortune on a simple flash reader i just need to get some car pictures off the cam :)

thanks hope somone can help me pick one :)

Try this one:

Quality brand. You may be able to get a generic reader cheaper though

BTW some dogs can sense electrical current, it attracts them. Not really the dogs fault.

I never thought a card reader would be worth the money of a usb cable. Are you in that big of a hurry? I've transfered 8MB out of my camera with a serial cable. Going with a usb one increased speed enough I can stand it now.

I bought a Zio! card reader off ebay for $15. They make a few types though so be sure to get the right one for your type of card.
