In the profile it doesn't show the warning level, instead it says "Warning level:" 2 times. I thought I'd let you know.

I thought I'd let you know. mindboggle 11-17-2002, 07:47 PM I believe the reason for that is because the warning system has not been implemented yet. Alex[nl] 11-17-2002, 09:59 PM O ok, thanks for the heads up ! JKLIVIN 11-19-2002, 03:54 PM I was wondering about that too. imago-allan 11-19-2002, 06:49 PM I've seen people's post and saw a warning level 5. What is the implication? Thanks. :) BC 11-19-2002, 07:59 PM OK, we're still in the process of properly implementing the user warnings system, since RS and us are looking at a possible hack for the warning system to allow auto-bans at x points/x levels, as well as do a few little bits and pieces (such as custom messages from mods) that the current system doesn't do. The current Warning Level values are arbitrary and aren't totally correct. I already have a new point structure set up - as I said I'm waiting for the hacks, otherwise I'll just add them in anyway and manually do the suspensions. It'll all become a bit more clearer once we get the new points system in. In the meantime, 2 points would be for advertising in a non-ad forum; 5 points would be for 'blatant advertising' (i.e. multiple ads, sneaky promotion etc.). Please e-mail us directly if you need further clarification. (the current system doesn't send any of the mod comments and also doesn't point out which post was responsible for the warning). Akash 11-19-2002, 08:16 PM when you do finalize everything with the points and what not, why not to add it to the rules? ;) jolly 11-20-2002, 05:40 PM After how many level user will be ban from WHT. BC 11-20-2002, 06:57 PM Originally posted by jolly After how many level user will be ban from WHT. On the current warnings system, the ban level is set at 22, which is too high for our purposes. That's why we haven't really used it properly yet. All wil be explained (and added to the rules or made a sticky) once we get things sorted out. |
