They are run by the same company as myacen.com.. might want to do a search here and @ freewebspace.net.. they seem to be a very popular choice (myacen.com).

They are owned by Myacen.com which you can find more about using the search feature. Basically, you get a break on hosting fees but don't get support via help desk or email though you can still use the forums for advice and help.

If your a "newbie," it might not be a good idea. Otherwise, it's a great way to save a few dollars though I believe you need to pay for one year in advance.

No experience with Solid Internet, but Myacen ( the 'mother' company) seems like a very good and friendly host, haven't saw any complaints about them.

No CGI/PERL either.
