Hi,

Has anyone noticed the increase in community reviews requests? Although I have posted in this forum... I believe that area is just full of advertising...

Just out of interest is there any rules IE Post count limit... I mean its clear members are simple posting for advertising sake...

Crispy Crackers a few weeks back I seen a guy asking to review his site (It was a free template)...

Is there any rules...

"You must have 10 (ten) posts and 7 (seven) days of membership before starting a thread within."

But I agree it's a bit crowded with advertisers. I would like to see a rule that you can only post in that forum once a week/month, and only ask for a review for the same design once (forever).

Maybe Only One domain... once you have posted... not allowed to post another domain for 4 weeks... and... not the same as the last domain as the last one...

How about using the handy dandy report button if you see what you think is just advertising and we will take a look. We can't possibly be everywhere, so rely on members to alert us to trouble spots.

Why not... basically whats wrong in Advertising. If you feel the post seems to be a spam, then hit the report button.;)

I guess I don't understand what the big deal is. Maybe a website has a free design but they value input on how to make the free design better. Along with what others have said if there was an issue why didn't you report it? I've reported threads before and it takes a minute out of your day. The same amount of time it takes you to create a thread and comment on it.

Hmmm maybe we should add more mods.

WHT is already a well moderated forum. For the amount of members and visitors here, they do a great job the way it is.
