Free Hosting Software (PHP)

No, I am not going to start a free hosting biz....but it is a perk that a client is giving away with a membership to his site.

Does anyone know where I can get an easy to admin PHP Hosting script?

Thanks

Im going to edit this post to make myself more clear.

What I need is a Full Automated Hosting Solution.

Please see my below post for more details.

Thanks!

Hi,

I guess what we would need is a full automated solution.

The Members would sign up via a web form.

We would not need to collect Addresses, Billing Info etc. seeing as this is for Current Members and is Free.

The script would then automatically create a virtual directory for the user. www.siteurl.zom/username

The script would also need to give FTP access to the user only for their virtual directory.

Being able to easily search/list users would be a must.

Being able to allow for a user to use their own domain in the future would be good too.

A webadmin for the Users would be good too if it can all be automated.

We also need a way to make sure the users are not using the space for anything other than the Clients program promotion.

The client does not want to apply banners/headers/footers so I'm really not sure how this can be done.

Any advice is appreciated.

i dont hink you'll find this 'free'.

you will probably have to go customized - which will cost a bit of $$

Money was never the issue.

I never requested a FREE solution.

I said the Hosting would be Free so we would not need to collect Billing Info etc.

Sorry for the confusion.

Money is Not a Problem.

Then i woudl write out all the specs you need in it - in detail, and submit it to a site like www.rentacoder.com or some where in that genre.

The only thing different that we would need is a custom signup form.

Are there not any good automated soultions out there that can be purchased?

http://webcp.can-host.com (web://cp) is a free GPL web hosting control panel.

There is no 'automated' signup system, but it is really only a matter of including a function file with your own forms.

Or try simplecp. Its better in what you want to do because its simpler LOL

A automated signup can be programmed for very little.
