I'm currently setting up a account.

For my nameservers I've been given the option of ns1/ns2 or dns1/dns2.

What's the advantage, if any, of either? - ie, is one better, or is it all aesthetics?

No difference. It's just a name. It really does not matter which one you choose. :)
