I am working on a new site infusionservers.com and I am looking on suggestions on where to put a call to action and what type of call to action I should use.

Define "call to action".

A message saying Get started, or possibly a form on the homepage that allows users to start the sign up process

It's basically a phrase telling the user what to do. Telling the user to act now and sign up or something like that.

We have a large, red "purchase now" button under each product description.
Bill Gates talked about eliminating "friction" between the customer who wants your product and their ability to actually get it. If you build your website and sales approach in that manner, you're more likely to succeed.

I agree with that statement, if all you want is clients, you'll get clients, but they will be junk clients.

The ones you want are people who actually want and/or need your hosting, they will be there long term and will make you a lot more money.
