Where is the best place to get business cards?

I'm okay with paying a fair price. Ideally it would be cheap and of high quality, but when does that ever happen?

Thanks! :D

Are you looking to get them printed or designed?

Printed, I can do the design. (I actually have already done the design, for about 7 unique moo mini-cards..but I keep getting told they are too small, so now I have to start from scratch :[)

I've always gotten mine from moo...
(Full sized ones as opposed to the mini cards)...

Where abouts are you in the world (as this has quite a big effect on the costings / suggestions people are going to give)

we've gotten a few from a local stationary shop a while back - but our last batch of cards came from vistaprint.com - they are pretty nice, always has some kind of special going on.

Moo's cards are very high quality. The mini cards are great for quick advertising and just for URLs and things, but when you want more info on them they are too small. I would still recommend the full sized moo cards. I have ordered 1000s of them and had no problems.

I think it depends very much what you are going to do with them. If it is for someone you know and you have been talking about it, the mini cards are good just to give out so they don’t forget the address. But if you are wanting a proper contact card the normal sized business cards are the way to go!

I don’t think I would recommend moo’s recycled paper for the business cards either. I think the standard stock (laminated) gives a much more professional image.

We usually order ours online vistaprint. It is much easier and cheaper for us.

I always use VistaPrint.com. If your not in the United States VistaPrint will not delivery to you. I've received many printed products from VistaPrint they do wonderful work. My order has never come damaged or incorrect.

I have never used vistaprint, but I have seem business cards that were printed by them and they did look pretty good. I am actually thinking of using them for my next order of cards.

I ordered my last batch from AcidFlyers and was really happy with how they turned out and the price was great. I get a lot of comments on them!

I use vistaprint and can not complain, but dont expect your final price to end at what they advertise. It will most likely come out higher. Especially their shipping(their slowest one estimates at 21 days I think)

We use Vista Print. Some very nice cards they produce, also they run a lot of deals and adverts via web sites (currently I have 4 or 5 50% off coupons :P). But as David said, don't expect to pay what the advertise as you will always find ways to increase the cost (more cards, different features, uploading your own image).

They operate in numerous countries around the world, and they do ship everywhere (not just in the US).

I have used them many times in the past. None of my local guys can compete with the prices and quality they offer.

I have actually with a previous business got mine from vistaprint.com I know lots of people have said that as well but another recommendation from me. I have gotten more than business cards from them, I actually spent quite a bit of money with them getting advertising items all good quality.

I get mine from VistaPrint, and wouldn't get them done anywhere else. It takes a while for them to get to you, but they are very cheap and are very good quality for the price you paid. I have yet to notice any problems with colors and size when ordering from VistaPrint.

I think the main thing I like about Vista print is the amazing offers they email to you at least twice a month. 80% off this, FREE products and all kinds of other awesome deals.

We had ours done locally a while back and I still have a ton left. I never really use business cards.

Yes we do,

We always buy our bussines cards local. I find it easier to see a preview of quality before printing and plus some shops even beat online store prices, give some a try.

Cheers

Business cards aren't always used for local advertising. I use mine for networking with people as well, it's easier to hand them a business card with my email and cell number than it is to give it to them.

In Korea, it's basically a written rule that you need to exchange business cards upon first meeting someone.

I just ordered more cards from moo.com :)

We use cards locally, if I ever get talking to someone I know needs web hosting I will give them a card so they remember the URL, it's much easier. :)

I used to use VistaPrint until they messed up an order and it never arrived. I've since switched to GotPrint. GotPrint has been really good with our cards.

I am going to jump on the vista print bandwagon here. It's great if you're starting out and know you might change design/information later on.

Overnightprints.com is far better tha vistaprints as far as quality goes. There are many coupons flying around and they email out good ones also.

They include glossy finish for free and you can get 250 for the cost shippig to try them out.
