Indeed! I should notify my friend of this auction, he's uh obsessed with Ferraris. I'm betting that he'd be more than willing to pay that much for a ride in a Ferrari...

Crazy stuff.

LoL... the only way that would be even remotley close is if the guy said he would take it to a local drag strip or oval circuit so he could legally cut loose... otherwise how much fun is it to go 0-60 in something and then not go any farther... so what... your pushed back in your seat for a few seconds then you come to a screeching halt at the next stop light.

I can do that with any car....

heh

$5k? for a 1 hour ride around town...I have several friends in Atlanta with 360's and 512TR's that I go driving with on the weekends, I could make a hell of a business out of selling rides.

hum....

Ever driven around Seattle? I think he'd be very lucky if he got anywhere close to 60 miles an hour around the city :) Between 4:30-6:30 pm the I-5 is known as 'the parking lot'

Dress up in a suit, go into Ferrari and test drive the cars. But I doubt they have F50's available for test drive. I guess if you're a real crazy fanatic, you can say it's "affordable".

I'll pay that thing off quick

I imagine a hand full of people saw it, thought they were gettin an awsome car for 5000 and bid on it, than read about it and retracted..

And it says you must adhere to all traffic laws lol

I had the chance to buy a f50 for $50k Canadian from an associate. Looks like I coulda made that back pretty quick even if i only charged $1000/ride. BTW i didnt buy it due to astronomical insurance (as yuo might imagine) :D

Wow... that's quite a lot just for an hour ride. You could definately spend much less and have the car for at least a day.

If this were a charity auction it'd be more understandable.

This is a pretty lucrative business. One rental per month would cover the car's car payment.

For instance, $450.00/Weekend for a Porsche Boxster.

DO NOT BID ON THIS IF YOU DO NOT HAVE AT LEAST 5 POSITIVE FEEDBACK OR NEGATIVE FEEDBACK. I WILL CANCEL ALL SUCH BIDS

Soo atleast 5 positive or 5 negative

Better hope is does not get in any accident whatsoever or he's liable to be sued by the winning bidder.

To think partner scammers would love to win this bid.

What a waste of money..

Unless you pay for it, then drug the driver and steal it :D

Why would anyone want to pay $5,000 for a test drive?

I would rather rent one for a day ;x

If you can afford $5600 to RIDE one time, you should just buy the car. If you cant afford to buy it, you shouldn't be spending $5K for a 1 hour joy ride.

People are idiots!
