hi all

i am in a search for decent reseller webhosting.

i need 15GB space and max50GB bandwidth

-no limit on number of cpanel accounts
-overselling enabled
s
I don't need any extras like free domain, free IP, private nameservers, billing soft or master releller...that only gets the price up
i am currently at trustahost, but their future is questionable, i will stay with them if they survive this month....but i need to have backup plan

thanks in advance for any advice

Why is their future questionable? (Trustahost that is).

Do you have a budget?

Do you have a budget?

they sent out a notice few days ago they will not continue their operations so customers should move till 15th this month. But today i got mail they will probably make another contract with data center for next year.

anyway, my budget is 3-6GBP, 4-7EUR, 5-10USD.
do have an offering? :D

honestly, i wish they continue with their business, because so far i have been very satisfied with their price and service....they made me an offer for 3.5GBP with 35GB space reseller :), i have been a year with them

That doesn't sound too positive, provider chopping and changing it's mind. If i'm honest i'd recommend moving now before it's too late, don't hang around in the hope they may decide to stay in business and then vanish on the 15th.

Protect yourself and any customers you may have.

Providers here can't quote so your request for an offering won't be replied to by hosts, i'd recommend you contact any hosts your interested in and see if they can offer you a deal that's suitable to yourself and them.

£3.50 per month for a 35GB reseller is crazy, it's unlikely you'll find reliable hosting that cheap.

The owner of Trustahost used to own another hosting company a while back that was sold off so I wouldn't hold out and see what happens - I'd take backups straight away to protect your clients.

How much disk space are you currently using? It sounds like you're going to have to raise your budget to find a decent host.

yes, i know Dominic owned hosting business before,...i didn't ask for that much space, that was their offering on the site, and i got very good discount :)
well, to be honest, i never used above 10GB space, ...well hdd space these days is really cheap, one TB on wholesale costs below 60GBP, so i really dont see why is disk space so expensive in UK....in germany it is damn cheap, but i don't know any german :(

anyway, it lasted for a year, 42GBP for one year is a real bargain...
for example scalahosting is cheap but they have cpanel limit to 25users, that is not an option for me

Perhaps hostvoice.com may be able to assist you if you'd like to get some free quotes.

You are correct, diskspace is pretty cheap these days. Diskspace isn't the only factor you have to put into pricing a plan.

You need to cover data transfer costs (bandwidth), you need to cover support costs, plus other factors - so you may find it hard to get the same specifications.

Shoot some providers a sales e-mail and see what is the best they can offer you, i'd be suprised if you get anything for less than £5 p/m from a decent provider.

Which region of europe are your customers coming from ? Because depending on that an Host in the US might be slightly slower, but therefore prices there are a lot cheaper, just search for data centers in the Chicago or New York area.

Hi

if you want 35GB space for £3 then expect the next host to shortly close down too! for 35GB Space with a professional service including backups your going to need to increase your budget to at least £20 month.

my clients are mostly from central EU, and a bit from eastern EU
