well, they hav been up since 10.25.2002. And they hav definitely improved lately, sow it`s not a big deal.

I can forgive them. :-)

the ping is higher now
about 50 ping higher

did anyone of you do a traceroute

It's possible it was DoS attack and there are still systems DoSing their network resulting in the higher ping. Hope everything gets worked out ;)

I was told this:

"We had someone installing an additional fiber line to our network. He
rebooted the router and it took a few minutes to come back up."

they said my situation is a route problem and they promised me that they will have it corrected tomorrow

traceroutes showing me internap (genuity here) through www-works instead of he.net, as it used to be, through www-works now. pings still about the same for me (around 200ms from Germany) but more hops, which doesn't really matter.

I think not down , only dns'serverdown, i use other dns server'to resolve , in my mrtg logs , i cant see downtime ,
