Doesnt it look nice and tidy? http://www.zervex.com/demos.htm Cybertoad 11-13-2002, 05:03 PM Looks good, but I don't think it works on 2K boxes. Only Unix based servers. ckpeter 11-13-2002, 05:32 PM Cybertoad, I don't see the point of your post. How does the fact that it doesn't work on Windows 2000 relates to anything? Please clarify it for me. Peter Cybertoad 11-13-2002, 05:37 PM Sorry... all of my servers run W2k. I am looking for a good control panel that does work on W2K. I've looked into Hosting Controller and Ensim, but can't decide on one. I like the look of this interface... just wish it would work on 2K servers. ckpeter 11-13-2002, 05:40 PM I see. I was scratching my head on how Windows 2000 has to do with anything on this thread? :) Peter Cybertoad 11-13-2002, 06:07 PM My bad... forgot to metion that I use windows based servers neonlexx 11-13-2002, 09:30 PM I emailed them about 3 days ago and havent gotten a response back yet.......really makes me wanna buy their product. It would appear that no one reads their email these days...same thing happens when I email perlbill....ive sent over 10 emails to them in the past few months. kosmo 11-13-2002, 09:36 PM neonlexx, did you check if your emails leave your server? I can't imagine perlbill not answering your requests. kosmo UH-Matt 11-14-2002, 06:29 AM It is quite expensive if you want all the features. the $19 / month licence doesnt give a client interface only server admin one. need to be spending the equivelent of cpanel to make this worth it... and then cpanel beats it in my opinion. neonlexx 11-14-2002, 09:50 AM Yeap im sure my emails are leaving the server =) and ya i agree its almost has much as cpanel and has less features...i wouldve considered it had they responded to my email in a timely manner. UH-Matt 11-14-2002, 11:40 AM DSM Gold - $69.95/month -Host Unlimited number of Domains -Unlimited Product Upgrades -Email Support 7 Issues/month 15 minute max each. -Includes Client Reseller and Administrator web interfaces -Administrator can brand reseller and client web interfaces -Resellers can brand their client web interfaces Above is there equivelent to cpanel (with a lot less features) you can get cpanel licences even externally for less than that. dglaus 11-14-2002, 05:24 PM What features are missing from Zervex's DSM Gold langoliers24 11-14-2002, 08:10 PM OK but one big advantage in my opinion is that Zervex does not install its own packages other than apache and php you can use up2date. As I understand it with cpanel you have to get all the packages from them. Please correct me if I am wrong. |
