Does anyone know anything or have any opinions about this product: ********** from Comodo Group (http://www.**********.com) ?

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

That was not an advertisement. Well, try this: Comodo Group (http://www.comodogroup.com) . Click products, Certificate Services, then SSL Certs... Hope this one works. Thanks.

I give them two thumbs up. I switched from Thawte and am so impressed I'm considering becoming a reseller.

Thanks for the reply. Prices are much more resonable than our current cert, and I don't see any reason to stay away.

I like to stick with companies I've heard good things about.

geotrust.com (http://www.geotrust.com) is a well respected company in the community and I like their prices.

Stay away from Thawte now! They've been bought out by the evil that is Verisign.

Isn't VeriSign one of the better providers for SSL Certificates?

From what I've seen, Verisign, GeoTrust and Baltimore are the 3 major providers. All 3 are a bit pricey. Baltimore has licensed their product out to other companies, one of them being the company I listed above. Their prices are MUCH more resonable. Verisign starts around $250/year, GeoTrust at $125/year, and Baltimore around $350/year. $25 for 3 years seems pretty good to me.;)

I have not gone wrong with Comodo Group so far. Their support, regarding the questions I had, was tremendous. I had an issue installing a free TEST cert and, even though I didn't ask for it, they called me long distance from the UK to the US to make sure I was able to get the question resolved.

Not bad, considering at that point I hadn't spent a dime with them.
