View Full Version : "Disabled" User Group?

What does it mean if a user's account is in the "Disabled" usergroup?

Should I be worried if my host I found on WHT, is under new managment, and their count is now listed as "Disabled"?

I am up for renewal next month so if the new owners of my host did something wrong I don't want to continue with them or keep issuing good words in passing.

P.S.
My host was ScarabWeb.

Disabled is the WHT word for Banned :)

Here is a few reasons why they could of been disabled;

Main Forums Fluff (Adding details about company or service not specifically asked.)

Thread/Post Not Allowed (Starting a thread or making post that is not allowed per Forum Guidelines).

POC (This is a simple point of contact. More information follows)

Rude or Disruptive (Being rude or intentionally disruptive).

I guess the only was you will find out the reason is by contacting them and hope they give you an honest answer...

That carries 0 or 1 point and expires in one day. Probably not that. ;)

Yup, 'cause WHT staff can't discuss specifically why. There are other reasons for suspension too (by request, compromised account and so on), and may not reflect on them as a company. Ask them.

As said members that want to discuss their own account can open a ticket here (http://helpdesk.webhostingtalk.com/).

If you get all of them without getting banned bear gives you free candy.*
