I am currently shopping around for a better hosting billing/support/provisioning system and would really like opinions.

First, I am looking for a system that will allow the basics such as client self service for hosting, hosting add-ons, domains (reg, tran, etc), billing through multiple sources, support system, and invoicing.
I also need a package that can handle individual client download rights (provide a file that only one client can see) without having to create a new client group for every client.
A template system that I can completely customize.
A promotions system that can handle 6 months free on any hosting option without having to create a rule for every price option of each package.
The ability to bill for other services such as site design work.
The ability for customers to see all of their historical data like invoices, support tickets, system and admin emails, etc.


SO, I have two specific questions:

Who do you all like in regard to these specifications and why
Who should I stay away from and why

WOW!! You are very specific in what you are looking for, but I think what you are looking for is 3-4 different services that are not typically offered by 1 company.

Can you tell us if you have any programmers on staff?
Have you used anything similar to what you are asking for before?
Do you have a budget for startup and ongoing maintenence?
Will this system allow clients to build their own Websites?
Are you a reseller for any Domain Registar yet?

No, just me and I don't have time to do much customizing - Thankfully busy enough to be too busy for that :)

Have you used anything similar to what you are asking for before?
Yes, and I am looking at and testing whmcs, clientexec and am now looking for more alternatives if they exist.

Do you have a budget for startup and ongoing maintenence?
Yes, but this is flexible if the ends justify the means

Will this system allow clients to build their own Websites?
That would be wonderful but not a deal killer. I am looking at other tools for that as well.

Are you a reseller for any Domain Registar yet?
Yes - Enom.

Are you looking for a Linux server or Microsoft?
I totally forgot to mention that I use cPanel/WHM for server management.
