Hi All
Looking for some advise... a few days ago my enom account was hijacked.. they bought around 300 USD of domains in 2 orders.
What can I do with my Enom account, Enom havent responded to my question about what domains were moved and to whom... It looks like the were bought and pushed to another enom account !!
I know that all sales are final but surely Enom should be able to investigate it..
Now 2 of the domains are in use by a host. So I asked where they had got them from, they declined to answer and got upset with me asking !!!
I have managed to regain the account, but its left me fealing a little vulnerable....
Any sugestion on the best course of action.
Make sure the password is nothing like any of your other passwords.
Call eNom asap.
And make sure the servers using the eNom like whmcs are secure as well.

ouch, I would hate that to happen to anyone - I really do despise those people that have to steal. But yeah, call enom as soon as possible and make sure they investigate. This is the case to call not to email.
Good luck with this, hopefully you can get your money back and the guys that did this gets punished one way or another.
I'd be very interested to learn how they gained access to the account, personally. If you know how or learn how it was done, please share.

WOW!!!! that is some serious business here! You really need to call Enom and I believe that they should be able to get back your money. If not, I would suggest you go to your credit card company and request a charge back then redeposit the money back into enom. I do not know if that would be possible but its worth a try :)

I'm surprised you did not call them right away and instead tried to wait on an email response. That is very serious and needs to be handled immediately. Please keep us updated on how it goes.

You should can your PC for key loggers. This type of thing happens to so many people these days. I actually scan my PC with a couple of different scanners almost every day.

That's great to hear. You should seek to implement better security measures to ensure it does not happen again. Up to date virus progrmas, etc

That sounds like a bit of craziness to say the least. I would make sure that you do a scan and related. Depending on where the individual/purchaser/hijacker is located, you might want to report him to the local authorities as well. Enom should have IP information on where the users were located when they "hijacked" your account. (although they probably used a proxy...bleh)

I know this is already resolved...
But for anyone else who has a similar issue, I agree that in this situation, you should call eNom instead of using their ticket support system. You need to speak with someone from their "risk management" department.
You should also contact your "parent" reseller (the person who created your enom account) and ask them to help you.
