Hello :)

I wonder, does anybody here know some interesting free domains services, without banner/popups/other ads?

As for now, I know some like that:

http://members.freeurl.com/ (eg. X.hasit.info)
http://www.********/ (eg. X.********)
http://www.has.it/ (eg. X.has.it)
http://www.ontheweb.nu/ (eg. X.IsTheBe.st)

and, the best for me I found yet:
DotTK, http://www.tk/ (eg. X.tk)
^- but you need to de-activate banners in options, and for some special-type domains (with popular words, like aol.tk), they want to charge...

Anyway, does some of you know some more services like that, including only these _without_ ads?

Just register your own domain and host it.

Heh, that's _usually_ true, but, still, I found some _free_ and _without_ads_ so I guess, that some of you can find more. And that's point of my question - got more? share :)

Not exactly free then is it? and you posted this yourself.
Free is never really free, it only means it won't cost you money. Trust me, it is costing somebody money, and if they don't profit enough on through other means, they won't be around long. Most "free" services have banners, pop ups, sell your email address, or worse; make you sign up on all kinds of useless mailing lists.

I know a hosting Co that has many intresting domains you can get a subdomain of, but the catch is, it is real hosting, not a redirection, so you have to pay. The benefits are that (unlike buying a domain, and getting hosting) your details are kept private, and their lowest priced plan is cheaper than a domain alone at some registars. But they probably aren't for you.

I am not affiliated with them, only sold them the domain name :D
