the house is RIGHT behind me, our house could of been set on fire and the house next to it, the two houses, our nab's and the house that was on fire were less then 10 feet apart

Heh... I live in a condo and a few months ago one of the units in my building was on fire. Kinda scary when I opened up my door to get out all I saw was flames coming out of the one unit. Good thing the fire was contained to the one unit... but not a whole lot of luck to the 2 units that are directly below it... they had a lot of water damage. :(

What's messed up is what caused the fire. The lady that lived at the unit was 'trying' to create some sort of hair growth tonic with various chemicals on a outdoor grill.

Best thing to come out of it all is that I had an excuse for not going to work that day. :D Red Cross took all of us to a park and we just hanged out for the whole day there.

well luckfuly the house had cement siding, not wood and the walls are fire proof, i looked in their window and all that is left in the bedroom is the studs. it was only the upstairs but they must have smoke stains downstairs and water damage.

the roof feel in tho, and this is a new house built almost exactly a year ago (little longer)

I can actually reach out my window and touch the building next door.

Anywho, glad everyone's okay.
