I want to be able to access the Gnome Desktop Remotely, not telnet or ssh but the gui.
I am on winxp / 2000
Whats the best way and can anyone provide me detailed links to how i can do this?

I think you can do that with SSH, no? X11 forwarding or something?

You'd have to run something like gotomypc or VNC. I don't know to much about this but *hint* *hint* look below ;):D.

you could use securecrt to do a x-windows hook up... i think :idea:
x0rbserver which can be found here (http://www.hexonet.de/software/x0rfbserver/) will do that for you. It's essentially a vnc server that doesn't start a new xserver.
