Whats the best vps panel for offering vps hosting?

There is no real "best"...

HyperVM was what everyone thought as the "best" panel, however sadly fell apart when the owner passed away.

Currently we use VePortal, and have had no problems. We are looking forward to V2, it looks very interesting!

I heard hypervm is back and it works.

I think they are starting development on it again, I'm yet to hear more about it.

However many have moved on, as HyperVM was gone for quite a while. Now its back, I guess newer hosts may use it but for those who have already moved on will not see much of a reason to go back (if they already have a new panel).

so I was looking at veportal site and I was wondering what does it require. Also is vsxpathway better? Does veportal have an auto installer?

Just test out a few and see which one you like best. We settled on WebVZ after testing five different panels.

If you are a hosting company then you may need the following features in vps control panels
-> Bandwidth and other stats managements
-> Multiple node management
-> reload VPS OS as per user wish
-> IP address management
-> Better design , secure and easy to use interface

Remember if you chose any one, which at least need above features

You may want to add:

- support tickets
- billing and reminders
- invoicing (with tax support if not in USA)
- reverse DNS
- monitoring
- appliances support

We been using VePortal.com, no problems so far. Only set back is the developer seem to be the only person on the support team. And they are usually only online certain hours.
