Give Panopta a try: www.panopta.com

It beats both of them hands down :)

hyperspin works great for us, not saying its the "best" but works well.

Take a look at binarycanary.com as well. 30x 1 minute monitors for $10/month is hard to beat. They're checking has been spot on for us.

We use both Host-Tracker and Hyperspin. They both work very well.

I personally like Hyperspin better though.

I am evaluating panopta.com, they seems good. However, lack of some features, when comparing to Pingdom. Their support is a bit slower than Pingdom too. Panopta seems a good choice, and they keep adding features, but if signing up right now, I would suggest Pingdom.

Which features are those? I can't see anything obvious in the Pingdom feature list that isn't in Panopta.

Just curious :)

I have used both of them and I will definitely recommend Hyperspin than host-tracker. Another provider that you may want to take a look at is Pingdom. :agree:

Hyperspin is awesome, doesn't have all the glittery bits like Pingdom but does the job very efficiently!

I'd recommend either hyperspin or siteuptime

Traceroutes for example. In Pingdom, you can see traces from monitoring servers to yours, and decide what the issue is. I have asked Panopta, and they said they might add it in next few months.

oh.
so i will register on pingdom as you say its better than hyperspin and hosttracker.

pingdom.its better that other.so why some one resgiter on for example on http://www.siteuptime.com/ ?? i think that pingdom feature is better than it.

Just to follow up, we launched the traceroute functionality for all of our customers earlier this week.

I thought you did! Was gonna post this, but couldn't find my newsletter e-mail :)

Great job as always, Panopta.
